Market Readiness Audit
Connect your repo and tell us your target markets. We'll do the rest. Within 48 hours, you get a full compliance readiness report that highlights fit-gaps by severity and effort.
48-hour delivery · Per-market scope
Sweepline helps you with one-time audits and realtime monitoring to stay in line with 40+ regulatory frameworks and market practices across the EU.
01 · The problem
Keeping track of changing regulations and localisation requirements across mature markets is hard. Non-compliance means lost deals and hefty fines. Redeveloping shipped features is expensive.
Mandatory Impressum page on all German websites
Illegal to display promotions without a 30-day average price
E-invoicing required from September 2026
Mandatory disclaimers for subscriptions and user data usage across most markets
02 · The solution
We check your product and codebase against regional regulations and localisation requirements for each market you want to launch in. You get a list of everything that needs to change, sorted by severity, with effort estimates and links to the actual regulation, plus a real-time readiness score.
Connect your repo and tell us your target markets. We'll do the rest. Within 48 hours, you get a full compliance readiness report that highlights fit-gaps by severity and effort.

We integrate into Jira and your repo(s). When your team plans a feature, we flag the regional compliance implications before the design is finalized, or before it hits production.

Regulations are constantly evolving. Know about relevant upcoming regulations months before their deadline, with specific guidance on what they mean for your product.

03 · Who it's for
Compliance shouldn't be a quarterly meeting you have with Legal, it should be a continuous development practice. Instead of drafting legal memos or reports, we add PR comments so your developers can make changes during development. Think of it as an ESLint for compliance.
Don't rely on a checkbox in the Definition of Ready to ensure legal compliance. We check proposed features automatically in the background by integrating with Jira or Linear, so we can flag potential issues early.
Follow market readiness in real time with our readiness score, communicate clearly to your board, and only pull the lever when all fixes are in.
We bridge the gap between your legal team and engineers. We surface potential risks that start in code, so you can analyse and address them faster and with more context.
Share a market compliance and readiness report with prospects, partners or even regulators. Save time and win more deals.
04 · How it works
Industry, customer type, target markets, tech stack. A short questionnaire that takes less than 15 minutes.
Link your GitHub or GitLab repo. Connect Jira for monitoring or if you want findings synced there.
A full compliance audit for your target markets. Each finding is classified by severity, linked to your code, and mapped to the specific regulation.
The audit turns into a board your team works from. Assign findings, track progress per market, and get notified when new regulations affect you.
05 · From audit to action
A PDF that sits in someone's inbox doesn't get anything fixed. So instead of a report, you get a board. Every finding is a card with a severity level, a market tag, and an effort estimate. Assign it to someone, move it to "in progress," and your readiness score updates automatically. It syncs with Jira, Linear, and GitHub Issues if your team already works there.

06 · Markets
Our methodology is region-agnostic. We started with the EU because that's where the regulatory surface is hardest and where our team has shipped. New regions roll out behind the same sourcing, cadence and human review.
06 · What we don't do
There are good tools for translation already (Phrase, Lokalise, Crowdin). What we check is whether your codebase is ready for them: externalized strings, no hardcoded text, enough UI space for languages like Finnish where words are twice as long.
We tell your engineering team what needs to change and why, and surface potential issues that need investigating. For formal legal opinions or complex interpretations, you'll still need a lawyer.
No tool can. We catch the things your team wouldn't know to look for and reduce your risk significantly. We're confident in our solution, but compliance is complex and ultimately your responsibility.
We work best with modern stacks (React, Next.js, Vue, Node, Python). If you're on a legacy stack we may still be able to audit your product and processes, but the code-level scanning won't be as thorough. Contact us if you're not sure.
The audit is a product with a fixed scope and price. If you need custom regulatory advisory, we can point you to partners who can help you interpret results.
07 · Why us
Our team has scaled platforms across 15+ European markets generating $1B+ in annual EU revenue. We've lived through the launch delays: a missing Impressum page that blocked a German launch at legal review, checkout flows that tanked conversion because they didn't offer iDEAL in the Netherlands, subscription cancel buttons that had to be retrofitted into every billing screen to comply with German law, and e-invoicing mandates in Italy that required a full billing rewrite two weeks before go-live.
We built Sweepline because we were the people who needed it, and it didn't exist.
“We kept hitting the same problems in every new market. The information existed, but it was buried in legal documents nobody on the engineering team was able to interpret or read.”

09 · FAQ
No. GDPR is one of about 40 frameworks we cover today in the EU and UK. Consumer protection, payments, accessibility, e-invoicing, AI regulation, platform rules and country-specific requirements are all in scope, with more regions rolling out.
Today the live database covers the EU and the UK. The US, Canada, Switzerland and Norway are next, with the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Japan and Australia on the roadmap. If you're targeting one of those markets, join the early-access list and we'll bring you in as we light it up.
A law firm tells you what the law says. We tell you what your code needs to do. We bridge legal requirements and engineering execution, continuously, at a fraction of the cost.
For the full code-level audit, yes, read-only access. We scan for patterns and never modify your code. A product-level audit without repo access is also available, but less deep.
That's actually the best time to use it. If you're still making architectural decisions, we can catch things before they're baked into your system. Fixing something in design costs a fraction of fixing it after launch.
Updated daily. We track regulation that's enacted, announced, in draft, and under discussion, months before deadlines.
Yes. The UK has diverged in several areas. We cover the UK as a standalone market with its own rule set.
Yes. Dashboards and audit reports are designed to be shareable. Many customers use their status in sales conversations and procurement responses.
We don't guarantee full compliance, and no tool realistically can. We catch a lot, but we're an intelligence tool, not an insurance policy. Our terms are clear about this.
